Description
Human Lens Epithelial Cells (HLEpiC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human lens. HLEpiC are cryopreserved at P0 and delivered frozen. HLEpiC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to cytokeratin-18, -19, and fibronectin. HLEpiC are guaranteed to further expand for 10 population doublings under the condition provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Epithelial Cell Medium for culturing HLEpiC in vitro.
Quality Control
Human Lens Epithelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
