Description
Human Iris Fibroblasts Cells from Glow Biologics are isolated from human iris. HIrF are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. HIrF are characterized by their spindle morphology and immunofluorescence with antibody specific to fibronectin. HIrF are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HIrF are guaranteed to further expand for 15 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Fibroblast Medium for culturing HIrF in vitro.

Shippment
Human Iris Fibroblasts Cells are shipped using dry ice.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
