Description
Human Esophageal Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HEsMEC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human esophageal tissue. HEsMEC are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. HEsMEC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibody specific to CD31 (PECAM) and vWF/Factor VIII. HEsMEC are guaranteed to further expand for 10 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Endothelial Cell Medium for culturing HEsMEC in vitro.

Human Esophageal Microvascular Endothelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
