Description
Human Epidermal Keratinocytes-neonatal (HEK) from Glow Biologics are isolated from neonatal human skin. HEK are cryopreserved at P0 and delivered frozen. HEK are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to cytokeratine-18 and -19. HEK are guaranteed to further expand for 15 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Keratinocyte Medium for culturing HEK in vitro.
Quality Control
Human Epidermal Keratinocytes-neonatal are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
