Description
Human Epidermal Keratinocytes-fetal (HEK-f) from Glow Biologics are isolated from fetal human skin. HEK-f are cryopreserved at P0 and delivered frozen. HEK-f are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to cytokeratine-18 and -19. HEK-f are guaranteed to further expand for 15 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Keratinocyte Medium for culturing HEK-f in vitro.
Quality Control
Human Epidermal Keratinocytes-fetal are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
