Description
Human Conjunctival Epithelial Cells (HConEpiC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human conjunctiva. HConEpiC are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. HConEpiC are characterized by their cobble stone morphology in serum-free culture and immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to CK-18 and -19. HConEpiC are guaranteed to further expand for 10 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Corneal Epithelial Cell Medium for culturing HConEpiC in vitro.

Human Conjunctival Epithelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
