Description
Human Colonic Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HCoMEC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human colonic tissue. HCoMEC are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. HCoMEC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to CD31 (PECAM) and vWF/Factor VIII. HCoMEC are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi. HCoMEC are guaranteed to further expand for 10 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Endothelial Cell Medium for culturing HCoMEC in vitro.

Human Colonic Microvascular Endothelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
