Description
Human Choroid Plexus Epithelial Cells (HCPEpiC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human choroid plexus. HCPEpiC are cryopreserved after purification and delivered frozen. HCPEpiC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to cytokeratin-18, -19 and vimentin. HCPEpiC are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Epithelial Cell Medium for culturing HCPEpiC in vitro.

Human Choroid Plexus Epithelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
