Description
Human Cervical Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HCerMEC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human cervix. HCerMEC are cryopreserved after purification and delivered frozen. HCerMEC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to CD31 (PECAM) and vWF/Factor VIII. HCerMEC are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Endothelial Cell Medium for culturing HCerMEC in vitro.

Human Cervical Microvascular Endothelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
