Description
Human Cardiac Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HCMEC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human heart. HCMEC are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. HCMEC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to CD31 (PECAM) and vWF/Factor VIII. HCMEC are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Endothelial Cell Medium for culturing HCMEC in vitro.

Human Cardiac Microvascular Endothelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
