Description
Human Aortic Endothelial Cells (HAEC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human aorta. HAEC are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. HAEC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to CD31 (PECAM) and vWF/Factor VIII. HAEC are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. HAEC are guaranteed to further expand for 10 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Endothelial Cell Medium for culturing HAEC in vitro.

Human Aortic Endothelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
