Description
Established from a fibrosarcoma arising adjacent to the acetabulum of a 35 year old caucasian male. The cells can give rise to tumours in immunosupressed NIH Swiss mice. Susceptible to infection by RNA tumour viruses including RD114 feline endogenous virus and FeLV.

Quality Control
HT 1080 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
HT 1080 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.

Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
