HPCT-05-wt was developed from a primary cultures of proximal tubule epithelial cells from a 50-year old male which were infected with a replication-defective retroviral construct encoding wild-type simian virus 40 large T-antigen.

Cell lines were tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
The cells are shipped using dry ice.
Storage
Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
