Description
Variant of the promyelocytic cell line HL60 isolated after treating cells with alpha-particle radiation and then cloned in medium containing 1.25% DMSO. Treatment with 50nM TPA results in only very limited differentiation towards basophilic morphology (Giemsa stain). Differentiation towards monocyte lineage has not been observed.

Quality Control
HL60 Ast.4 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
