Description
HF1 cell line is a clone of hybrid cells resulting from the fusion of H5 and Fao. Expression of the majority of hepatic functions are extinguished. The cells contain a number of chromosomes corresponding to the sum of the parental numbers. HF1 variant which lacks the complete set of tissue-specific functions, appears to be a good candidate for regulatory mutants which control the orderly temporal expression of tissue specific functions during development.
