Description
HF1-5 cell line is a subclone of HF1 selected for it's ability to grow in glucose free medium. The entire group of hepatic functions are re-expressed. NB. The cells are difficult to cultivate, they do not like either low or high density and should be transferred frequently even though they grow slowly.

Coon's modified Ham's F12 (or Kaign's modified Ham's F12 + 45mg/L ascorbic acid + 18mg/L inositol) + 2mM Glutamine + 5% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Quality Control
HF1-5 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
HF1-5 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
Storage
Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
