Description
This cell line has been adapted for growth in suspension. Cells support growth of arboviruses, measles virus, poliovirus 1, adenovirus 3 and VSV (Indiana strain). This cell line has been found to be indistinguishable from Hela by STR PCR DNA profiling. Therefore, the cell line should be considered as derived from HeLa. Ethnicity Black.

Quality Control
Hep2 (Clone 2B) (HeLa derivative) Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
