Description
Derived from the parent HeLa cell line. The cells have been adapted to grow in suspension (spinner) culture and have the same virus susceptibility as the parent line. Very useful in the clonal analysis of mammalian cell populations relating to chromosomal variation, cell nutrition and plaque forming ability. The cells should be handled under laboratory containment level 2.

Quality Control
HeLa S3 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
HeLa S3 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
Storage
Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
