Description
H5 cell line is a subclone of H4-II-E-C3 which originated from the Reuber H-35 hepatoma induced by chemical carcinogenesis in an A x C rat. The dedifferentiated H5 cells express high levels of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase and exhibit a population doubling time of 12 hours. Differentiated variants are H4IIEC3 (85061112), Fao and others (see Biochimie 1974;561603 for details).

Coon's modified Ham's F12 (or Kaign's modified Ham's F12 + 45mg/L ascorbic acid + 18mg/L Inositol) + 2mM Glutamine + 5% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Quality Control
H5 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
H5 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.

Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
