Description
Derived from pituitary gland of Wistar-Furth rats. The cells secrete growth hormone at a rate of 1µg/ml cell protein/day. Re-inoculation of cloned cells back to Wistar-Furth rats results in a marked increase in body weight and stimulation of linear growth in both intact and hypophysectomized animals independent of rat tumour size.

Quality Control
GH1 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
GH1 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.

Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
