Description
The mouse erythroleukemia cell line F4N(MEL) was established in 1977. They lost the ability for erythroid differentiation by induction with DMSO or other reagents. Eight percent of the total number of cells in culture undergo spontaneous apoptosis.

Quality Control
F4N (MEL) Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
