Description
Do-11-11 was produced by fusion of the antigen-specific I region-restricted (H-2d) BALB/c T-cell blasts with the AKR thyoma BW5147. This murine helper T cell hybridoma is specific for chicken ovalbumin (cOva) restricted to I-Ad and cross reacts with cOva I-antibody. The hybrid can be stimulated to secrete Interleukin 2 or to act as an antigen-specific helper T-cell. Expression of IL-2 can be lost by long-term culture of growth at high densities.
