Description
The cell line DF has been derived by transfecting NIH-3T3 with human chromosome 7 DNA. It was originally established for the analysis of the cystic fibrosis locus and contains a transgenomic size of 3-4 Mb. Chromosomal fragments detected were 7q22-31.3 (met oncogene) and 7q22-7cen.

Quality Control
DF Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
