Derived from a subcutaneous nodule of a tumour from a 14-year-old male. Cells display remarkable blebbing. COLO 800 and COLO 794 were both derived from the same 14 year old male This has been confirmed by STR profiling.

Quality Control
COLO 800 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
