Description
Derived from an alveologenic lung carcinoma from a C57BL/1CRF mouse. Can be maintained in a completely defined serum free medium, but the growth rate is much slower than in supplemented serum. Used in studies of lung metastases.

Quality Control
CMT64/61 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
