Description
This cell line may contain a sub-chromosomal fragment of human chromosome 17 containing markers thought at the time to flank the cystic fibrosis gene. The DNA was donated from the human osteosarcoma cell line MNNG-HOS. Used in chromosome mapping studies and somatic cell nutridisation.

Quality Control
CII Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
