This cell line is a derviative of the CHO-K1 cell line, Glow Biologics catalogue no. 85051005 which has been adapted to grow in the animal component free medium, EX-CELL® ACF CHO Medium.

Suggested Medium
EX-CELL® ACF CHO medium (Sigma C5467) + 8mM Glutamine. When freezing cells use freeze medium composed of 5050 freshconditioned medium + 10% DMSO.
Quality Control
CHO-K1-AC-free Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
CHO-K1-AC-free Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
Storage
Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
