Description
Mouse Astrocytes-brain stem from Glow Biologics are isolated from embryonic day 15 mouse brain stem. MA-bs are cryopreserved as primary cultures and delivered frozen. MA-bs are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibody specific to GFAP. MA-bs are negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. MA-bs are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Astrocyte Medium-animal for culturing MA-bs in vitro.
Shippment
Frozen primary cells are shipped on dry ice.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen primary cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
