Description
Established from normal lung tissue of a 35 year old Caucasian male who died of a class 1-2 astrocytoma. The donor who was maintained for organ transplantation prior to removal of the lung. The cells will undergo a further 11 doublings.

Quality Control
CCD 16Lu Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.

CCD 16Lu Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
