Description
Derived from a 69 year old Caucasian male with a kidney carcinoma. The cells contain microfilaments and multilaminar bodies. They also exhibit microvilli. The cells are tumourigenic in nude mice.

Quality Control
CAKI 2 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
