A pseudotetraploid call line generated by fusion of 8-bromodeoxyuridine-resistant mutant rat glioma cell line C6-BU-1 and the 6-thioguanine-resistant mutant rat glioma cell line C6-TG-1.

DMEM + 2 mM glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS) + HAT (0.1 mM hypoxanthine, 10 µM aminopterin and 16 µM thymidine) Cells can be cultured without HAT provided they were cultured in between in HT medium for 3-4 days
Quality Control
C6-2-3 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
C6-2-3 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.

Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
