Full name Faof1C2 cell line is a dedifferentiated variant of Fao. These cells continue to express tyrosine aminotransferase, but the liver-specific markers are mostly absent.

Coon's modified Ham's F12 (or Kaign's modified Ham's F12 + 45mg/L ascorbic acid + 18mg/L Inositol) + 2mM Glutamine + 5% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Quality Control
C2 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
