Description
Derived from female Buffalo yearling. The cells have a finite life span of a minimum of 30 passages and are susceptible to a range of viruses including HSV, vaccinia, PRV, BVDV, para-influenza 3, bovine enterovirus (M62/4); also IBRV and VSV (Indiana). The cell line produces both detectable BVDV antigens and infectious BVDV.

Quality Control
Bu (IMR-31) Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
Bu (IMR-31) Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
Storage
Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
