Bovine Dermal Fibroblasts Cells from Glow Biologics are isolated from fetal bovine skin. BDF are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. BDF are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibody specific to fibronectin. BBDF are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Fibroblast Medium-2 for culturing BDF in vitro.

Bovine Dermal Fibroblasts Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
Shippment
Bovine Dermal Fibroblasts Cells are shipped using dry ice.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
