Description
Established from the abdominal wall muscle of a 30 day old male Blotchy mouse (Mo (blo/y)) with hereditary emphysema. The cells are deficient in lysyl oxidase activity and accumulate high levels of intracellular copper. NOR-10 was isolated from the abdominal wall muscle of a normal litter mate of the mouse from which BLO-11 was derived, thus it can serve as a matched control for studies with BLO fibroblasts.

Quality Control
BLO-11 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
