Description
A keratinocyte cell line established from a squamous carcinoma of the upper jaw (maxilla) of a Caucasian male. Keratin and involucrin markers present. Known mutations p53, p16 and p14ARF. Tumourigenicity in athymic mice not tested. Edington et al., 1995 must be cited and the cell line referred to by its original name.

Quality Control
BICR 82 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
