Description
Derived from a trypsinised suspension of pooled caudal portions of the trunk of one year old fingerlings. Will grow at temperatures from 15°C to 33°C. Cells susceptible to lymphocystis virus of fish and tadpole edema virus (TEV) of frogs.

EMEM (EBSS) + 2mM Glutamine + 1% Non Essential Amino Acids (NEAA) + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS) (pH7.4 - 7.5).
Quality Control
BF-2 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
BF-2 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
Storage
Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
