Description
AGS Cell Line was derived from an adenocarcinoma of the stomach of a 54 year-old Caucasian female with no prior anti-cancer treatment. AGS cells are persistently infected with parainfluenza virus type 5 (PIV5) (Young et al., 2007).

Quality Control
AGS Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.

AGS Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.

Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
