Description
The cell line A375-C5 is unresponsive to the anti-proliferative effect of IL-1. It has been derived from the parental line A373 which was subjected to cloning by limiting dilution. This method resulted in the establishment of A375-C5 and an IL-1 sensitive clone, A375-C6. The unresponsiveness of A375-C5 is probably due to an IL-1 receptor deficiency.

Quality Control
A375-C5 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
