60H9(9)D10.E6 Cell Line was derived from a patient with chronic Hepatitis C (HCV type 1). Antibody specific to non structural protein 4a (NS4a) of Hepatitis C virus. Fine specificity mapped to amino acid residues 1697-1708 of HCV deduced amino acid sequence. The cells should be handled under laboratory containment level 2 conditions.

60H9(9)D10.E6 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
