Description
4-11 cell line is a HeLa cell line stably transfected with two constructs the human androgen receptor (hAR) expression construct; a firefly luciferase reporter gene under the control of the MMTV promoter. 4-11 can be used to detect androgenic activity of chemicals.

Quality Control
4-11 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
