Description
This cell line is of Swiss 3T3 origin, transformed by the Moloney murine sarcoma virus. It cell line is a non-producer of the virus particles. In serum-free media the line will release a growth factor which can be used to stimulate quiescent cells to grow in monolayer as well as in soft agar.

3T3-MSV Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
