Description
293-Hektor Cell Line is the human embryo kidney cell line 293 adapted to grow in the chemically defined protein- and peptide-free Hektor G medium (Cell Culture Technologies). Cells grow in suspension and tend to form aggregates in static culture.

Suggested Medium
Hektor G medium + 4mM Glutamine + 5 ug/ml Insulin. (5050 conditioned mediumfresh medium) + 10% DMSO.
Quality Control
293-Hektor Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.
Shippment
293-Hektor Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
Storage
Store the cell lines in liquid nitrogen vapor (less than -130°C)
