1.2B4 cell line is a hybrid cell line formed by the electrofusion of a primary culture of human pancreatic islets with HuP-T3, a human pancreatic carcinoma cell line. 1.2B4 has been shown to be tumourigenic when transplanted into a SCID mouse host.
